About us
Thomas Tripp Andrews started his surveying career in Waihi at the age of 17. He then enlisted in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force (NZEF) and served in WWI on the Western Front, last rank being Second Lieutenant. Illness saw Thomas back in New Zealand in 1919 and embark on a career in surveying.

Opening offices in the heart of Auckland city, Thomas Tripp Andrews began what is now a 100-year-old, locally owned company that plays a vital role in Auckland’s development.
Thomas passed 7 August 1966. The Tripp Andrews office is lucky enough to still hold the original survey maps from Thomas’s work in Europe.
