Residential Development in Birkdale
Project Lead: Jack MacDonald
Tripp Andrews provided surveying and engineering services for a 15-lot residential development in Birkdale.
The scope of work extended from the initial topographic survey through to the subdivision and title stages.
Our Approach
The project required Tripp Andrews to coordinate several interconnected surveying and engineering requirements, including the diversion of existing infrastructure, a pump station, access at maximum gradients and height-limited easements.
Tripp Andrews undertook the surveying and engineering work from the initial topographic survey through to subdivision completion and the title stages.
Our Work
Tripp Andrews undertook the surveying and engineering work required for the development.
The project scope included:
- Completing the topographic survey
- Providing surveying services for the development
- Providing engineering services
- Working through the existing infrastructure diversions
- Addressing the pump-station requirements
- Designing access in relation to the applicable maximum gradients
- Accounting for the height-limited easements
- Progressing the subdivision through to Section 224(c) certification
- Continuing the process towards the issue of titles
Solution Delivered
- Section 224(c) certification has now been obtained for the 15-lot residential development.
“We have been working with Tripp Andrews for many years now and couldn’t be happier with our working relationship. Excellent group of people to work with and fantastic timelines and outputs.”
Why This Matters
A successful residential development depends on much more than fitting the desired number of homes onto a site.
Existing infrastructure, access gradients, pumping requirements and easements can each reduce development potential or create significant construction complications if they are not identified and resolved early.
Tripp Andrews managed these interconnected constraints from the initial topographic survey through to Section 224(c) certification. This gave the developer a coordinated pathway through the technical challenges and brought the 15-lot subdivision closer to the issue of new titles.
